As some of you may know, our mother Helen Russell recently fell ill. She was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus on July 5th after falling in her living room and experiencing complications while at home.
Helen has always been a strong and independent woman, so it was difficult for our family to see her in this state. However, we are grateful that she is receiving the best possible care at the Cleveland Clinic. The doctors and nurses have been wonderful in providing her with the medical attention she needs.
During this time, our family has come together to support Helen in any way we can. We have taken turns visiting her in the hospital, bringing her favorite snacks and books to help pass the time. We have also been in constant communication with her doctors and nurses to stay updated on her progress.
It has been heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and support from our friends and extended family. We have received countless messages and calls asking about Helen’s condition and offering their assistance. This has truly shown us the power of community and how important it is to lean on each other during difficult times.
While Helen still has a long road to recovery ahead of her, we are hopeful that she will regain her strength and be back to her vibrant self soon. We ask for your continued thoughts and prayers as she fights through this illness.
