The Meta Title is considered very important to improve Search Engine Rankings. I bet you have heard all this before.
Ok, let me bore you some more. The Meta Title Tag should be 60 – 70 characters.
I have seen sites ranking on the Google page 1 with the Meta Title Tag up to 109 characters with spaces. So, what gives?
Domain & Page Authority impacts how you should proceed with your Meta Title Tag.
Get the Moz Tool Bar and check http://www.toprankmarketing.com.
The homepage at Top Rank has DA (Domain Authority) of 56 and PA (Page Authority) of 64.
The Higher the Domain Authority the more characters you can use in your Meta Title Tag without hurting your rankings.
Here is a poor Meta Title Tag at http://apartmentinternetmarketing.com.
Title: Apartment Internet Marketing & Multifamily Online Marketing and the Online Customer Experience
I count 94 characters with spaces. This web site has DA of 30 and PA of 39.
I strongly recommend keeping your Meta Title Tag below 50 characters if your DA is 30 or below.
Excellent Title Tags will require less backlinks to reach Google Page 1 rankings.
Let me tell you another thing! If you botched up your anchor text in your backlinks – The title tag information I just provided will not matter.
I hope you realize you are getting real solutions that can help you immediately.
Just in case I confused and you and don’t understand what I am talking about.
Your Domain Authority (DA) is 30 or Below. Like 20….lol
Make your Meta Title Tag 50 characters or less with spaces.
Do you have a Facebook business page. If not, check your competitors with the Moz Tool Bar.
Usually you will see a Domain Authority (100). The highest you can get is 100. Go Facebook.
Your competitors Page Authority (PA) is usually 1 on Facebook.
Social Media accounts provide a great opportunity to expand your brand,
but if your PA is 1 your links from this page is worthless – well almost worthless.
Hopefully you have found this Article useful.
Have a Great Week!!
